What is a video essay? I am sure that most would say that it is an essay that is in the form of a video. Such an answer is neither right nor wrong in this case. That is because it is more than just that. Let’s talk about that.
As a good many of us know that video essays are very popular nowadays. YouTube is a site that contains loads of them. It is especially easy to find them considering how convenient technology and the internet is. But who could blame them. Their form of simple something depth analysis of practically anything is quite mainstream. But it is not just YouTube but even the education system that utilizes them too.
Yes, the form is quite mainstream but there are other types of film analysis too. They even include their specific purposes for something. Such a list can be found right here. But anyway, those other forms exist and have their own labels.
The main reason for such a large variety of types of video essays are because of different people. People are naturally different from each other as everyone knows. Ironically, it is also the similarities between different groups of people that variety exists. People have different needs, likes, and desires. That is also why different demographics exists. It is practically the same as how one person can like nuts but another person has an allergy to them.
